But I wanted to tell you about the stuff I read so far. VIRPIL Controls is a project created by passionate flight-sim enthusiasts looking to revolutionise the sim controller market. Perhaps it w2ill involve a CFG file as I've read in regard to Half-Life 2 usage. Since most FSX commands are keyboard key driven, I would think it is doable once you get all the information on how to do it. If' you haven't looked in the section on Windows Profile Sharing, there are several threads about using these devices with games not listed in the short list of recognized software. Not sure but it looks like some of that may have gotten built into the 3DxWare? The thread in which he detailed it is now closed and locked, and oddly at the end of it was mentioned the release of the 3DxWare 10 driver software. They show up at the top of the control configuration screen in MSFS 2020, but there is no description for any of the three. Will thsi bug ever be fixed when you launch a flight and the throttles just do not respond to ANY input be it. There are posts dating back to 2008 by a member RBC9 who had a 3rd party solution to axis mapping. I have the following Virpil controls: VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Base VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Grip They show up as game devices in Windows 10. Hmm go Options / Controller Settings then whatever controller you use (keyboard or quadrant etc) Type Throttle Axis or Axis or axis in the Search box on the left, you’ll find keys / buttons assigned. I think it is doable, but I haven't quite figured out if the assignment of axes to keys is done within the current 3DxWare 10 driver software, or whether some additional software is needed. I looked at the default profile and it looked right but for some reason buttons not working at all. I have an X52 Pro Hotas and it seemed MSFS recognized it but then I noticed the buttons are not working but the joystick and throttle do work. I don't have one of these products yet, but I am researching this forum because I'd like to learn if I can map axes to keys for use in Half-Life 2 (and for that matter, I also use FSX, so that would also be cool). Im not sure if this is right section but I am brand new to MSFS just installed it from Steam on my PC.
